11th Annual Celebration of Hope & Progress

Washington DC’s social, civic, business and medical leaders will join together for Sibley Memorial Hospital’s 11th Annual Celebration of Hope & Progress gala on Saturday, October 29th. This year the gala is returning home to the Sibley campus to highlight the Hospital’s deep roots in the community. The evening will start with cocktails in the new Medical Building followed by a formal tented dinner under the stars.

Gala Co-chairs Kate and Vince Burke, III, are working in tandem with Corporate Co-chairs Michael Harreld of PNC Bank and William Magner of Cushman Wakefield. Rachel Sullivan, the founder of the gala and last year’s Gala Chair, is serving as Honorary Chair this year. Proceeds from the gala will support Sibley’s multidisciplinary medical programs and services.

“These are exciting times for Sibley with ongoing construction of new facilities and the recent affiliation with Johns Hopkins Medicine. Sibley is growing to meet the needs of patients well into the 21st century, but there is no doubt that it remains firmly rooted in the greater Washington DC region and will continue to provide state-of-the-art and compassionate medical treatment and services,” said Mr. Burke.
